Nursery Curriculum

In Phoenix House, emphasis is placed on education through first-hand experiences, play and nanny-orientated care.

Both the school and nursery are registered with the DfES and are inspected by HMI, OFSTED and The Independent School Inspectorate.    This education is through play and includes all the pre-requisite skills such as language and social development.

Children are placed in an environment which closely resembles that of home.  Parental love, care and aspirations are reflected in our commitment; but we complement that through our expert professional knowledge of the needs of the ‘whole’ child.   

This is a purpose-built thirty place day nursery.

The Nursery provision is for babies birth to two year old.  We follow the governments Framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
