It constitutes one hour of Prep work, half an hour to include tea and one hour of leisure time. Extra facilities available outside normal school hours for all children (0 - 16 years) IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE NOTE We offer a 10% discount for the second child and subsequent children. If a child is staying between 6.30pm to 7.30pm, a 100% surcharge is payable. All staff are aware of the development areas of children. If your child experiences a delay in one or more areas of their development and has their needs recognised by a professional, then any extra help, staffing or equipment your child might need would have to be financed by either their parents or social services. The school could not meet these extra costs through the normal fees structure. All fees, including meals, are payable for each term in advance. The tuition fees include exercise books and most text books, stationery and swimming lessons. A termly fee is charged for personal text books, Latin and French Books. A term’s notice, in writing, is required for the withdrawal of a pupil from the School or Nursery. Such notice is to be received not later than the first day of the term at the end of which the pupil has to be withdrawn. In the case of all-the-year-round attendance, this termly notice still applies. A term’s notice is also required for any reduction in attendance or to change from all-year-round and extended day to term-time. If, after registration and following the signing of the acceptance agreement, your child fails to start school or nursery on the date agreed upon (full-time or part-time) then the payment of that term’s fees is payable. No allowances will be given for non-attendance once the acceptance agreement has been signed. In default, payment must be made of the full fee for the following term. These conditions are clearly stated in the acceptance agreement. No reduction of fees is made in the case of absence for illness, holidays, or any other cause as the expenses of carrying on the school and maintaining its efficiency are not in any way reduced by the temporary absence of pupils. All fees are exclusive of insurance. There are schemes of insurance for school fees which may be arranged individually and the attention of parents is drawn to this for their protection. The fees structure is reviewed annually, usually in line with salary inflation and current inflation rates generally. Bursaries are available for the Grammar School Extra Curricular Activities
