The School Day

The school day

• Normal school day: based on 8.30am to 3.30pm
• Half-days: based on 8.30am to 11.30am or 12.30pm to 3.30pm
• Extended morning: 7.30am to 1.00pm
• Extended afternoon: 1.00pm to 6.30pm
• Extended school day: 7.30am to 6.30pm
• Lunch: 11.30am and 12 noon

You are welcome to bring your child earlier or leave them later than the session times. This is charged for at an hourly rate. Please talk to us about your needs.

Meals

Breakfast is served from 7.30 a.m.

Lunch is a well-balanced, nutritious hot meal with a vegetarian option. A weekly menu is sent to you. Lunchtime is a very special teaching and social time. A family atmosphere prevails, where table manners and etiquette are paramount.

All children share a snack of fresh fruit and milk, mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Fruit is prepared in a fruit bowl and cut into small pieces. The cost of this service is 60p per week, brought on Fridays for the following week.

Tea is served from 3.30 p.m. onwards.

School uniform

We believe our high standards begin with our attitude to school uniform. It is important that your child wears the correct uniform at all times. We ask that all items of uniform are labelled with your child’s full name.
